Cashew Nuts Curry


1 cup -i an using plastic bowl
Ingredients:-

Cashew nuts- 1 cup
Onion-1 no(finelly chopped)
Ginger garlic paste-2 tbsp
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Chilli powder-2 tbsp( acc ur taste)
Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
Garam masala powder-1/2 tbsp
curry leaves -few
Salt to taste
Oil-3tbsp
Water-2 cups


Method:-

First soak the cashew nuts in enough water to cover for about 30 minutes.
Place the pan on heat and pour the oil when it gets hot and add curry leaves , onions to it.


Fry for some time until it turns golden brown.Now add ginger/garlic paste fry it until the raw smell goes away.


Now add cashew nuts to the onions and add chilli powder,turmeric,garam masala powder,coriander powderand salt to it and fry 2 mins.


Now add 2 cups of water add the cashew nuts and close the lid cook for 15 min.






Now open the lid and let simmer the gravy until it thickens.


Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve  it.

oh my god..i love the cashew flavor..but..this amount is a little high for me..:).anyways wonderful recipe..
